Research & Development

Project IMBIYOTAB aims to build a demonstration scale algal biotechnology center in Istanbul and to become collaborative research body for public and private entities. The center is established to contribute to Turkey's R&D efforts and provide research and education activities on microalgal products and technologies for food, pharmaceutical, energy and environment sectors.

IMBIYOTAB builds on fundamental science and engineering knowledge and brings crossdisciplinary expertise under one roof to address key challenges of food, energy and water in the 21st century.
